Who Are We?
We are Shin Zushi, a sushi restaurant that has been thriving in Malaysia since 2014. Our specialty is handcrafted sushi, and our founder, Chef Shine Chew, is not only the owner but also the strategic mind behind our success.
So, why did Chef Shine Chew create Shin Zushi?
Faced with the challenge of finding a high-quality hand-made sushi restaurant offering reasonable prices, Chef Shine Chew, both a Malaysian and a chef, made a pivotal decision. He resolved to establish a dependable sushi restaurant where patrons could savor their meals without fretting over costs. Thus, Shin Zushi was born, with its first outlet in Bukit Jalil. This culinary endeavor was brought to life with limited resources and a dedicated team consisting of Chef Shine and his four skilled disciples.
At Shin Zushi, we are committed to providing a delightful sushi experience that's accessible to all, a vision that has been at the core of our journey from the very beginning.

Our mission is to serve with pride and work with passion to uphold the Shin (New style) Zushi (Edomae Nigiri Zushi) promise, delivered with unwavering dedication and excellence.

Our vision is to become the foremost destination for traditional hand-pressed 'Edomae style' and 'Aburi style' nigirizushi in Malaysia, all while maintaining affordability.

Shusai
In traditional Japanese cuisine, the main dish, known as "shusai," commonly features chicken, beef, lamb, pork, seafood, and fish. These are typically served with staples such as rice or noodles, and are exquisitely seasoned with selected herbs and seasonings. This not only brings out the inherent flavors of the ingredients but also provides a harmonious balance among the elements of the dish.
